Ireland
With amazing scenery from the spectacular coastline especially
the Cliffs of Moher and the Antrim Coast Road to the desolate landscape
of the Burren. The Book of Kells is just one of the one of the major
attractions in the lively City of Dublin.
The country has many castles,
forts, and historic remains and stately homes, highlights of these
include Blarney Castle, Charles Fort, Newgrange and Cashel.
Visiting the Giants Causeway, Belfast Zoo the Birr Observatory
and Telescope. Some of the many museums and attractions in Dublin.
A boat trip to one of the Aran islands and day out to some of many
great beaches around the country.
Walking is very popular and there are many longer walks, which
if you have the time are the best way to appreciate the scenery
such as the 9-day walk along the Kerry Way. With the countries love
of horses you'll find horse-riding opportunities everywhere. Other
popular activities include fishing, cycling and all kinds of water
sports.
Traditional hearty dishes such as Irish Stew and Dublin Coddle
are worth a try and of course Soda Bread and Guinness Cake are a
must. Apart from the obvious Guinness, which definitely tastes better
here you should try some of the other stouts such as the familiar
Murphy's or Beamish. If you prefer lager try Irish Harp or Smithwicks.

Where to dance the night away

Dublin is definitely the place to be if you're a night owl, it
has a now become a European hotspot and has a great range of nightlife.
Elsewhere you'll find great pubs most having some form of live music
entertainment to while away the small hours.
The Dublin Horse Show is held in August but you'll find horse shows
and racing throughout the country in August. In October the International
Jazz Festival in Cork takes over the town and special boats arrive
from Britain and beyond for the event.
Quality products such as Waterford Crystal, Irish Linen and Tweed
garments are among the most popular traditional purchases. Irish
whiskey and local cheeses make great gifts.
