New England
New England is the perfect holiday destination, not only in the
Autumn when the stunning colours of the Fall foliage are a visual
treat, but throughout the whole year.
In Spring time, New England is a delightfully uncrowded place to
enjoy the bursting buds and wild flowers of millions of scenic acres.
Summer brings hot weather and the chance to spend time on the coast,
countryside or the picturesque towns and villages of New England.
Winter brings the type of snow that makes New England popular with
winter sports fans.

6 states make up New England:
|
Connecticut
30 minutes by train from New York. To the north are the Litchfield
Hills, known for scenic beauty and romantic bed & breakfasts, fine
dining and antiques. To the east is New Haven, home of Vale University
and a thriving arts community. Don't miss Mystic Seaport and Mystic
Marinelife Aquarium!
Maine
A 3,500 mile coastline and 17 million acres of forest give Maine
its character. Don't miss Acadia National Park, at Bar Harbor, the
number 2 national park in the US, and the trendy Kennebunkport.
Massachusetts
Probably the best known of the states due to its Colonial history.
In addition to its historic attractions there is Boston with its
lively arts and entertainments scene to Cape Cod, home to John F.
Kennedy's memorial. Nearby are the islands of Nantucket and Martha's
Vineyard. With over 80 beaches fringing its 1500 mile coastline
visitors can be assured of a great family holiday.
New Hampshire
Much of the state is covered by trees and the remainder is under
water! The states dominant feature are the White Mountains, the
highest point being Mount Washington at over 6,200ft. The Lakes
Region offers sailing, canoeing, kayaking or cruising. Lake Winnepesaukee's
72 square miles of water is surrounded by 183 miles of coastline
for scenic cruising
Rhode Island
The smallest state in the US it has large numbers of restored Colonial
homes in Providence and Newport. Sailing remains the abiding pastime
and there is plenty of golf, fishing and horse riding available.
