Norway
Norway is one of Europe's most beautiful countries, stretching north from mainland Europe far into the Arctic. The scenery is dramatic with high mountains and deep fjords.
Norway is a land of nature parks and wide open spaces. In summer it is the land of the Midnight Sun; in winter, the land of the Northern Lights, the North Cape and the fishing season at Lofoten.
Visit the Viking Ships, Vigeland Schulpture Park, the National Gallery and the Munch Museum in Oslo, the spectacular Nidaros Cathedral in Trondheim, or one of the many Stave Churches that dot the landscape.
Oslo is a small walkable city, founded in 1050, the oldest of the Nordic capitals. A bustling and lively cultural city, yet still steeped in Viking heritage and traditions. The city is surrounded by forests and located on the magnificent Oslo Fjord.
Bergen is a charming 13th century harbour town. At the heart of the city is the harbour with the old quayside buildings. It is great for walking and has plenty of fine bars and restaurants.
Voss lies between two of Norway's great fjords, Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord. There are endless walks and a cable car that takes you to Mount Hangur where the panoramic views are breathtaking.
