Soldeu El Tarter is justifiably proud to be the number one destination in Andorra for British Skiers. The original village of Soldeu at 180m continues to grow and offers guests plenty of good value action both on and off the slopes. The quality developments at neighbouring El Tarter offer you a more relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere and quick access into the ski area via the El Tarter high speed chair lift. Andorra has a unique, friendly and welcoming atmosphere with a superb range of activities.
Over 60Kms. of well prepared, snow-sure pistes await you with two rapid points at Soldeu 1800m. and El Tarter 1710m. It is usual to ki to both base points all season long. A new lift also links the skiing to adjoining Pas de la Casa for another 80+ Km. of skiing. Beginners and intermediates could not find a better ski area, with a lovely variety of open and tree-lined green, blue & red runs, linked by a series of drag lifts and chair lifts. Our efficient n-resort operation ensures you are very well looked after both on and off the slopes.
Beginners and improvers are in their element, with wide open nursery slopes leading onto some lovely long gentle runs. The Soldeu El Tarter Ski School is universally recognised as one of the best English speaking ski schools in Europe, with the majority of instructors being British, Australian or New Zealanders. Soldeu El Tarter is expanding the runs on offer annually, and currently has four black runs, with some challenging mogul skiing, plus long runs down from Belvedere, which should be a great challenge for most skiers.
In addition there is a lovely variety of off-piste skiing to enjoy on the wide open slopes and a further 87 Km of duty free skiing. Whilst Soldeu El Tarter and Pas de la Casa are physically linked, there isn't a commercial agreement. So if a skier wants to ski in Soldeu El Tarter and in Pas de la Casa they have to pay both ski passes
