Chiang Rai - Holiday guide
The northernmost region of Thailand was founded in 1262 by King Meng Rai and became the first capital of the Lanna Kingdom.
Chiang Rai is popular among the tourists for its cultural attractions including ancient artefacts and hilltop civilisations.
