Relax by day in one of the chic waterfront bars or shop in the charming boutiques. The lifestyle is relaxed and informal in Bodrum, with lively bars, restaurants, outdoor cafes and bustling shops. At night the action keeps going, shops stay open late, restaurants serve into the small hours and there are plenty of music bars and dance venues.
There is not much of a beach at Bodrum, but a 10 minute dolmus ride will take you to the sandy beach at Gumbet. Alternatively you could visit Turgutries. Bitez and Yalikavak have small beaches and bathing platforms and are approx. 30 minutes from Bodrum.
Bodrum in high season is not for the faint hearted or for those seeking a restful break.
