Kusadasi has blossomed into one of Turkey's premier league resorts. An hour and a quarter's drive from Izmir brings you into the heart of this cosmopolitan town with its graceful harbour. Beach life mainly centres around four beaches; the recently refurbished man-made town beach, Ladies Beach with its fine sand, Kustur Beach and Long Beach. Kusadasi is a perfect holiday venue for sightseeing, dancing the night away or simply relaxing.
There are four beaches just outside of Kusadasi. All these beaches are approximately 3-5 km outside the centre.
Kusadasi is an area for watersports, waterskiing, windsurfing, canoeing and many other activities. There are supermarkets, a post office, banks, chemists and doctors. The main shopping area located just off the sea front is superb, with all the major retail names, great leather shops and countless traders selling designer fakes. Kusadasi also has many colourful market stalls throughout the town.
Kusadasi has a rather sophisticated nightlife, with bright lights and music along the waterfront and with clubs and bars open until the early hours. Kusadasi also has many good restaurants.
An excellent choice - coach trip to Ephesus which is 20-25 minutes from Kusadasi. There is a daily ferry service to the Greek Island of Samos. Visits to Troy and a trip to the snow white stalactites and hot thermal waters of Pammukale. Don't forget the water parks for a great day out.
