The celebrity in search of some serious sun heads for St Barths. Famous faces spotted there include Julianne Moore, Woody Allen and Hollywood couple Calista Flockhart and Harrison Ford, who rented Richard Branson's private villa. Kate Moss was also spied there along with baby lila Grace, at the Guanahani hotel.
For those not lucky enough to have a house on St Bharts, like Elle Macpherson, or who can't borrow a place like Fergie, The Pink Sands Hotel, owned by ex-Island Records boss Chris Blackwood, is the place to be for the likes of Demi Moore.
The tiny island of Anguilla has been attracting more than its fair share of stars recently, largely because it has more five-star hotels than most Caribbean islands. Titanic star Kate Winslet chose the isle to marry Hollywood director Sam Mendes, while Cap Juluca's restaurant has served up dishes to divas such as Jennifer Lopez and drew barrymore.
Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster chose to relax at Malliouhana Resort in Meads bay and trendy Cuisine Art hotel has hosted John Malkovich and Janet Jackson.
The Caribbean has also proved the place to head fopr stars wanting to escape the paparazzi, or simply escape everything! Singer Charlotte Church fled to St Lucia's Le Sport recently, while supermodel Naomi Campbell has been heard singing the praises of Jamaica's Strawberry Hill as the ultimate getaway for stressed out supermodels.
Barbados continues to be Hello Magazine on Sea, with celebrity magnet hotel Sandy Lane pulling in the usual people such as Michael Winner. For celebrities that don't have homes there, as do Cilla Black, Cliff Richard and Jodi and Gemma Kidd, the tiny Lone Star is proving to be the hip place to stay.
Bermuda looks set to enjoy a renaissance now that Catherine Zeta Jones and Michael Doudlas have snapped up a new luxury residence there. The $2.5 million holiday home, called Longlands, is a two storey, five bedroomed villa set in 2.2 acres of land.
