Not only is Croatia re-establishing itself as a wonderful destination for sun-seeking tourists on their summer holidays, it is also garnering a reputation for celebrity-spotting too.
Hollywood star and two-time Oscar nominee John Malkovich was seen strolling through the streets of Dubrovnik this week, according to Hello! Magazine.
Malkovich was joined by friends as he made his way through the stunning and historic city, situated on the Adriatic coast.
The actor is often spotted in Dubrovnik, as he is believed to have property in the vicinity, as well as the fact that his father came from the former Yugoslav republic.
Other stars from the big screen have visited the medieval city. Sharon Stone is reported to own a house on that stretch of coastline, and only last summer, Tom Cruise paid the city a visit with his mother and two children.
Dubrovnik is situated at the southern tip of Croatia, and is the perfect destination from which to explore many of the islands off the coast.
