St.Lucia is a stunning emerald island covered by lush rainforest, golden sandy beaches and the tranquil Caribbean Sea to the west. A Caribbean island that stands out from the crowd St. Lucia offers a great range of accommodation and access is getting easier there are now 8 weekly flights from the UK from Gatwick with British Airways and Virgin Atlantic, Heathrow with BWIA and Manchester with bmi.

UNESCO Site

St. Lucia's stunning Piton Peaks located in the South West of the island were honoured by UNESCO in 2004 by being made a World Heritage Site. This recognises the 2,909 hectare site's beauty, flora, fauna and history and is a reward for all the efforts made by local people and
organisations to protect this national treasure.

Cricket

Further to the development of the Beausejour Stadium in the North of the island St. Lucia is becoming a big player in the world of Cricket. It is now the location of a number of one day international matches; the first is the West Indies v. Pakistan on the 21st-22nd May.

St. Lucia is also proud to announce that it will be home to the England Cricket team during the 2007 Cricket World Cup. It will host the first round matches and one of the semi finals.
