Adding spice to your winter get away won't be difficult as the Havana International Jazz Festival rocks the island nation from December 1st to 4th.
Famed for its musicianship (think Buena Vista Social Club) Cuban music is riding high and this event has a perennially consistent line up of top jazz exponents.
The festival is based at the Hotel Rivera and hosts performances along with the Casa de la Cultura Plaza and Jazz Club Irakere.
Of course, Cuba has much more to offer than just jazz and old cars. The island is blessed with a unique Caribbean beauty and the old streets of Havana ooze Latin charm and a friendly atmosphere.
