Helped by the weak dollar UK visitors are flocking back to Florida. The situation is helped by the opening of several new attractions in Orlando. Here are five of the best new attractions in Orlando for this year.
1. Mission Space - this is billed as the most extreme ride yet. Located in Epcot it involves blasting off on an out of this world journey into space! Buzz Aldrin - the second man to set foot on the moon - said it was the closest thing he'd experienced to a real space launch.
2. Revenge of the Mummy - this is Univeral Studios big budget spectacular. It's a white knuckle ride combined with an interactive thrill ride. It lasts four minutes and includes a "ceiling of flame" which involves real fire shooting across a ceiling just inches from the riders heads!
3. Marine Mammal Keeper Experience - this is based at Seaworld and now offers visitors the chance to spend a day with a marine mammal keeper, helping to rehabilitate injured manatees, care for seals and dolphins, prepare animal diets and feed whales. The cost is $389 per person for a full 9 hour day.
4. Ka Tonga - tales from the heart of Africa. This show is based at Busch Gardens near Tampa and is a 35 minute musical interpretation of African folklore. It uses a mix of puppets, music and dance.
5. Stitch's Great Escape - great for kids of all ages, this is an interactive adventure based on the kids movie Lilo and Stitch. The show opens this year in Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom.
