Us Brits still love Benidorm, judging by the swarms of people who visit the destination year after year. Benidorm is a lively resort, so be ready to party every night in any of the great bars, especially in The Square at the Levante Beach end of Benidorm. Most of these bars feature comedians or live music. The best parties are to be found at The Shamrock.
Benidorms 1,500 shops are great for retail therapy. There is an out of town shopping centre, while half an hours drive away in Alicante, the Corte Ingles department store competes with funky back-street boutiques.
We all love to eat and Benidorm is good at feeding us with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Why not try anything from Indian, Chinese, Belgium or Italian.
People love Benidorm for its entertainment. From water parks and zoos to the Terra Mitica theme park there is never a shortage of things to do.
A favourite excursion is to the fish market in Calpe, while Denia's castle gardens are great for chilling out. There are excellent views from the lighthouse at Javea.
