Far from sneaking around in the shadows like a good spy, James Bond actor Daniel Craig has been taking in the Tuscan sun while taking a break from shooting the latest 007 movie.
Bond's next adventure will see him racing across the red-tiled roofs of the town of Sienna as the world-famous Palio horse race takes place on the streets below.
Given that he often insists on doing his own stunts, the actor was keen to simply relax with his girlfriend Stasuki Mitchell in his spare time, with the pair rarely seen leaving their romantic hotel balcony.
Tuscany has the dual honour of being both the green heart of Italy as well as the birthplace of the Renaissance movement.
For visitors, this is a perfect combination; the numerous hilltowns as well as the city of Florence are home to some of the world's finest art and architecture, literally littered with works from the region's most famous sons such as Da Vinci and Michelangelo, while the surrounding countryside is largely unspoilt with luscious green hills interrupted only by perfect little hamlets.
While Daniel Craig may stay in character and stick to the vodka martinis, tourists are able to take in one of the highlights of a trip to Italy, a boozy tour of the vineyards of 'Chianti Country', so appealing that hundreds of foreigners each year decide never to go home.
