With her husband spending most of his time flying between football games in England and the US, Victoria Beckham headed to New York's famous fashion week for a spot of glamour and almost managed to upstage the models themselves.

True luxury, however, comes at night, in one of the city's contemporary hotels or a night sipping champagne on a rooftop bar at such as the 15th floor Ava Lounge, just off broadway which claims to serve the world's finest apple martinis, looking down on the bright lights of the city that never sleeps.
