The TV presenter and pop star arrived at the annual Bafta/LA awards event together and were pictured on the red carpet laughing their heads off.
Having clearly started the party a few hours earlier, the British pair were obviously enjoying themselves at the bash, which was an Anglo-American event to recognise achievement in both the UK and Hollywood entertainment industries, Hello magazine reports.
Among the other celebs enjoying the party atmosphere in Los Angeles were actresses Helen Mirren, Thandie Newton and Kate Winslet as well as former 007 Pierce Brosnan and Inside Man star Denzel Washington.
Hollywood has become a second home for many British film stars and is just as popular to travellers and holidaymakers.
There are numerous landmarks and points of interest dotted around the area, including the iconic Hollywood sign, the Walk of Fame, the Hollywood Bowl and Paramount Studios.
Many visitors also take part in tours that pass the homes of many local celebrities, travelling along such famous streets as Mulholland Drive, Sunset Strip, Hollywood Boulevard and Rodeo Drive.
