Supermodel Elle Macpherson has been spotted enjoying some festive sunshine in her native Australia.
According to the Australian newspaper, Elle has been spending Christmas in Palm Beach, a stylish coastal resort located a short distance away from the centre of Sydney.
She took to the water early on Boxing Day to take a surfing lesson with renowned athlete Rusty Miller, spending over an hour practicing her moves before enjoying some quality time with her family, the paper reported.
Surfing is just one of the many water-sports on offer in Palm Beach, with the Pacific providing the perfect place for visitors to try kayaking, sailing and diving. A slew of other stars are said to be visiting the resort, including singer Sting and Brothers and Sisters star Rachel Griffiths.
Luxury beach resorts in Australia are flourishing, with Tim Lawless, the research director of RP Data National, telling the newspaper: "You start off with a premium beach and retail facilities, then a place just needs to build up momentum and reputation."
