The Foreign Office has relaxed a travel warning for people visiting Mumbai. During the time of the recent terror attacks on Mumbai the Foreign Office advice was for "Essential visits only", but this has now been withdrawn. Anybody visiting Mumbai either for business or pleasure is advised to be vigilant, as is normal for anybody making visits to most countries in the world.
For those taking holidays to Goa in India there is no Foreign Office special advice other than the normal. Anybody taking a Goa holiday should take normal saftey precautions and there is no known terror threat to the holiday destinations of Goa or Kerala.
Anybody wishing to cancel a holiday to Goa that has already been booked will be subject to the tour operators standard terms and conditions. Further advice can be sought from your travel agent or tour operator.
