It could well be that the demand for cheap package holidays is increasing again after a poor year for holiday sales in 2009.
The recession, of course, is the main reason for the reduced demand along with the weak Pound against the Euro. However, new fugures released today by a major chain of travel agents shows that demand for the traditional package holiday is increasing again leading to speculation that the worst of the UK economic recession is behind us.
Because UK weather is so unpredicatable and the fact that most of us here in the UK like to escape the rat race for a few days of the year it was a sure bet that once the economy picks up then the sale of cheap holidays would increase as well.
Lets hope that this is a sign that more people will want a cheap holiday in 2010
