Singing in the sun

Trying to escape the cold of winter and take a break from singing, Latin singer Julio Iglesias and Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti have been seen holidaying in warmer climates.
Pavarotti has been seen by Hello Magazine, enjoying the Caribbean sun on Barbados with his wife and two year old daughter.
The area is ideal to visit in winter and suitable for both couples and families, with lots of nightlife, evening entertainment, beautiful beaches and wonderful dining.
Other celebs known to holiday in Barbados include Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan, with the favoured area for the elite or those wanting to splash out - the fashionable St James district.
Meanwhile, Julio Iglesias opted for the white beaches of the Dominican Republic with his partner Miranda and two daughters, where the family have their own holiday home.
The family are regular visitors of Punta Cana, a popular area at the eastern most tip of the island, favoured by holidaymakers for its clear blue sea, beautiful landscape and reasonable prices.
Situated between Cuba, Jamaica and Puerto Rico, the destination is in the heart of the Caribbean archipelago and a holiday in the Dominican Republic is said to offer a more authentic holiday experience.
Legendary designer Oscar de la Renta is also said to be a fan of the holiday hotspot.
