As Valentine's Day approaches and romance and love are in everyone's minds, what better time to consider the ideal venue abroad to get married?
A host of celebrities have chosen to wed abroad, with recent reports speculating pop princess Kylie Minogue may be travelling to France on Valentine's Day to get married to her latest love Olivier Martinez.
Other stars that wanted to make their day extra special by jetting off on a plane to somewhere new, include Matt Le Blanc, Kate Winslet, Sarah Michelle Gellar and Liv Tyler.
Destinations of choice include the mountains of Majorca in Spain, at a beach resort in Queensland in Australia, on the beautiful coastline of Barbados and the cliff tops of Puerto Vallarta in Mexico.
A number of countries offer wedding packages nowadays, whether couples are looking for a secluded island venue in the Caribbean or a whole extravagant, attention grabbing package at somewhere like Las Vegas.
Of course even if you choose to stay in your own country to get married, a honeymoon hotspot needs to be chosen, with figures from MSNBC showing that Italy, Mexico, Hawaii and Greece are all popular choices.
