More than 15,000 people, locals and visitors to Vancouver alike, watched the Spice Girls take to the stage for the first time in nine years and perform 22 songs.
The girl band's international tour will take them to a number of the world's most famous and glamorous locations, including San Jose, where they will play on the evening of December 4th, and Los Angeles.
Latter stages of their trip will take them to Sydney, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Cape Town, among other cities.
Kicking off their tour in Vancouver, the five Spices played hits including Wannabe and Spice up your Life, as well as their new song Headlines.
Vancouver is a city on the west coast of Canada and is part of the province of British Columbia.
It is an excellent base from which to see some of Canada's stunning landscapes and natural formations, including the Strait of Georgia and the Fraser River.
