Charles and Camilla explore Turkey

Prince Charles and his wife Camilla visited the ruins of Ephesus and treated photographers and onlookers to a rare show of affection, with the prince holding his wife's hand and at one point putting his arm around her.
Upon their arrival in Ephesus the royal couple were met with the sight of a magnificent 40,000-seat amphitheatre which Camilla set about capturing with a compact digital camera.
One of the best-preserved parts of the ruined city is the Library of Celsus, where the pair of travellers stopped for the Duchess to take some more snaps and to allow a guide to explain the history of the site.
Their excursion was rounded off by a performance by a dance troop from the nearby town of Izmir.
Ephesus was an Ionian city in ancient Anatolia, which now attracts massive interest from tourists, many of whom come to see its gladiator graveyard. It is located in western Turkey, on the Aegean coast.
