Meeru Island Resort   A larger Maldives island with extensive facilities

There are two main restaurants, a poolside coffee shop, a la carte floating yacht restaurant (seasonal), overwater Asian Wok, Hot Rock Restaurant and Bar, sand floor bars and occasional entertainment. Two swimming pools (one adults only), fitness centre, two spas (one overwater), tennis, badminton, table tennis, volleyball, golf driving range, 9-hole pitch and putt, dive centre, snorkelling, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, canoes, a large boutique and a host of excursions. The house reef is reached by boat.

Accommodation

286 rooms, each with air-conditioning, television, CD/DVD player, tea/coffee facilities, minibar, open-air shower and a terrace.
Garden rooms (50sqm) are simply furnished in single storey terraces on the island's interior.
Superior rooms (50sqm) are individual, beautifully furnished wooden bungalows with a semi open-air bathroom and a terrace with views through trees to the beach.
Jacuzzi beach villas (80sqm) feature a walled garden and outdoor Jacuzzi.
Water villas (60sqm) straddle the waters edge, with four-poster bed and sundeck.
Jacuzzi water villas (85sqm) are stylish overwater villas with Jacuzzi and espresso machine.
Honeymoon suites (90sqm) are reached by small boat and are available on request.
