When should I check in at the airport?
The general rule for most international flights is to check in
at least 2 hours prior to departure.
For transatlantic flights we recommend 3 hours before to allow
for additional security checks.
You should allow a little more time if you have to collect your
tickets at the airport.
For UK internal flights we recommend a minimum check time of 1
hour.
It is always a good idea to know before hand which terminal your
flight will depart from. At large airports like London Heathrow
it can take some time to travel between terminals. For example it
takes about half an hour, including walking time, to travel on the
Heathrow Express from terminal one to terminal four.
